Less noodling. More music.

ElevenJams

Curated cover song jam sessions in the spirit of Live from Daryl's House. Real musicians, real gear, fully rehearsed songs — recorded and sounding great.

Not your average jam session

I've always been inspired by watching great musicians come together to play cover songs at the highest level — channels like Live from Daryl's House, Hindley Street Country Club, and Lexington Lab Band.

I have a well-equipped home studio and the gear to host exactly that kind of session. I'm looking for serious musicians who want to play organized, rehearsed cover songs — themed by decade or genre — and record them properly.

Drummers just bring sticks. Everyone else brings their instrument if they like, or use mine. We use backing tracks for a full, polished sound. Sessions are planned in advance — the setlist is set, everyone knows the songs, and we play them.

The ground rules

  • Show up on time. Always.
  • Come prepared — we don't learn songs at the session
  • No noodling while others are talking or setting up
  • In-ear monitors (IEMs) required — no floor wedges
  • Play to a click track — it keeps the recordings tight
  • No drugs or smoking; light drinks are fine
  • No politics or religion
  • Have fun and make great music

These aren't suggestions — they're what makes the sessions great for everyone.
